Dzogchen Teaching

Dzogchen is an ancient spiritual teaching developed in Tibet within the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. It does not belong to a school or religious system. Rather, it is the knowledge that masters have transmitted without being limited by sectarianism. The word ‘Dzogchen’, meaning ‘total perfection’, actually refers to the true inherent nature of all beings, their primordial state, which is free from all limitations and conditioning. The master’s transmission of this state of knowledge lies at the very heart of the Dzogchen teachings. Read more

ABOUT EVENT

line-2
Discover the Nature of Mind

This is really an unique opportunity to receive the Dzogchen teaching from one of the most respected Dzogchen Master of our time. This kind of opportunity is not happening everyday and it is not for sure that Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche will come to Slovakia again. In the past it was very difficult to find a teacher who would transmit Dzogchen to a student. The teachings were kept secret and sometimes students had to wait for many years and go through different preliminary practises in order to be ready to receive the Dzogchen direct transmission from their Master. Participants from all around the world will have opportunity to attend 3 sessions of 2 hours during which Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche will teach Dzogchen.* After the teachings there will be Khaita dances. Please read more about Khaita dances and its meaning in here.

* The teachings will be always in English with a Slovak translation
